I’m really glad you are enjoying the swipe file ads. A lot of times I dig them out of old books and newspapers. At other times people find and generously donate them. That Merrill Lynch ad (one of my favorites, too!) is from a great collection of old ads called, “The 100 Greatest Advertisements”.
Which is an excellent book of old ads — with explanation of how well they did — from way back in the day Eugene Schwartz mentioned at the end of “Breakthrough Advertising.”
