Let’s rap about affiliate marketing.<\/p>\n
I don’t do a ton of affiliate marketing, as I prefer selling my own\u00a0products over others’ products. But, when I do bite the bullet and\u00a0do the deed, I almost always (1) blow away the expectations of the\u00a0product owner (2) if there’s a competition of some kind, I usually\u00a0win \u2014 even against marketers with bigger lists, more popular\u00a0brands, and whose lists are more suited to the product being sold\u00a0than mine is.<\/p>\n
Example:<\/p>\n
Ryan Levesque’s survey funnel product.<\/p>\n
Maybe something has changed in the past year in this regard, but\u00a0when I mailed for his product (not even unleashing the full might\u00a0of my home-grown affiliate marketing model, which I don’t know of\u00a0anyone else who does it the same way) I beat all his other\u00a0affiliates without even breaking a sweat.<\/p>\n
This is including some pretty hardcore marketing minds.<\/p>\n
And, people whose lists are all about funnels.<\/p>\n
(While mine is about email.)<\/p>\n
Another example:<\/p>\n
A few months ago I sold Brian Kurtz’s “Titans Of Direct Response”\u00a0DVD’s as an affiliate. Last I heard (and something may have changed\u00a0with this), I was beating everyone else with conversions. Including\u00a0powerhouse marketing companies I would have thought’d kill me at\u00a0this by sheer numbers alone.<\/p>\n
What?<\/p>\n
You’re thinking, “Good job Ben, but why should I care?”<\/p>\n
Probably you shouldn’t.<\/p>\n
Especially if you’re happy as a clam with your results now.<\/p>\n
