Lately I\u2019ve been digging on Twitter more and more.<\/p>\n
I do still read Facebook due to the private group I co-own\u00a0on there, and the usual time wasting reasons.<\/p>\n
But, mostly, I\u2019m spending more time on Twitter.<\/p>\n
For one, there\u2019s less grandstanding and mindless complaining. It\u2019s\u00a0also far more entertaining (even better than TV). And, there\u2019s less\u00a0of a herd-think going on there than on Twitter.<\/p>\n
Less of everyone all using the same herd-think phrases, for example.<\/p>\n
(“just sayin'”, “that is all”, “said no one ever”, etc etc).<\/p>\n
It’s like Flakebookers don’t think because they don’t have to.<\/p>\n
Not so much on Twitter.<\/p>\n
At least, not with the people I follow.<\/p>\n
(Which is very few, admittedly, I mostly just like to follow\u00a0thought leaders and movement-builders — even, sometimes, people I\u00a0disagree with, you can learn a lot about audience building\u00a0following the right kind of people on Twitter).<\/span><\/p>\n More:<\/p>\n Twitter is also practical for writers.<\/p>\n (Of any kind.)<\/p>\n After all, it forces you to be a pithy writer.<\/p>\n And some of the best\u00a0writing “exercise” you can do is boil down a message into 140\u00a0characters or less.<\/p>\n Anyway, that\u2019s it for now.<\/p>\n More herd-bucking lovin\u2019 here:<\/p>\n
