He didn\u2019t mean anything malicious about it.<\/p>\n<p>But, it was getting annoying.<\/p>\n<p>(More annoying than typos.)<\/p>\n<p>For 2 or 3 days straight he went out of his way to say, \u201cthere\u2019s a\u00a0typo\u201d in different ways. Again, not maliciously. Just his\u00a0nature probably.<\/p>\n<p>So what did I do?<\/p>\n<p>What I always tell people who complain about typos:<\/p>\n<p><em>Nobody cares.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>When he replied saying *he* cared, I simply said:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>\u201cIf you are going to keep wasting my time nattering on about typos\u00a0each day, then opt out and cancel your email players subscription\u00a0or I will do it for you. It&#8217;s simply not for you. Plenty of others\u00a0you can learn from, instead. On the other hand, if you are open to\u00a0learning and not just assuming, I&#8217;ve tested and written about this\u00a0extensively, typos are a non-issue:\u201d<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Then listed several blog posts I\u2019ve done about this.<\/p>\n<p>He agreed he was open to learning and we were cool after that.<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, the point of this?<\/p>\n<p>A lot of people who complain about typos should be more focused on\u00a0writing better emails than having better spelling, grammar, and\u00a0syntax.<\/p>\n<p>They\u2019ll make a lot more of the green stuff.<\/p>\n<p>And, be less annoying.<\/p>\n<p>Also, speaking of typos:<\/p>\n<p>The biggest complaint about my first two novels was the spelling.\u00a0And, yes, I admitted it sucked. Especially \u201cZombie Cop\u201d. But we\u00a0were anxious to get it out there and, well, why so serious?<\/p>\n<p>Still, we\u2019re always looking for more.<\/p>\n<p>(I don\u2019t care if typos are in my emails, but I don\u2019t want them in\u00a0my novels).<\/p>\n<p>So, here\u2019s a deal:<\/p>\n<p>Since we updated \u201cZombie Cop\u201d with the spelling errors fixed not\u00a0long ago, here is a challenge:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">1. Buy and read &#8220;Zombie Cop&#8221; (the most recent version, as of\u00a030-days ago)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">2. If you find a typo, I\u2019ll give you a free copy of the second\u00a0novel in the series \u201cVampire Apocalypse\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">3.
