Just finished watching \u201cNightcrawler\u201d for the second time.<\/p>\n
A truly fascinating movie.<\/p>\n
Especially if you\u2019re in business.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s basically about a sociopath who starts a business getting\u00a0violent crime video footage and selling it to local news networks.\u00a0And it\u2019s one of those movies where the villain is the hero and vice\u00a0versa. And, even though he does some truly despicable things, I\u00a0found myself rooting for him (not unlike the character Cobblepot in\u00a0the TV show \u201cGotham\u201d).<\/p>\n
Anyway, the point?<\/p>\n
The main character is one shrewd negotiator.<\/p>\n
And, it\u2019s worth watching just to see how he negotiates.<\/p>\n
(If you strip away his unsavory motivations and methods, there\u2019s\u00a0some golden persuasion and negotiation nuggets in there.)<\/p>\n
So, watch ye the movie.<\/p>\n

One of the many cheap, \u201cbargain basement\u201d priced books I have on\u00a0Kindle is all about negotiation. It\u2019s very short (like 15 pages,\u00a0maybe even less) and costs a whopping $2.99. But, I\u2019ve used the\u00a0tactics inside to make out like a bandit for everything ranging\u00a0from buying and selling my cars, getting the lowest prices possible\u00a0(and the highest prices possible for stuff I sell) to getting top\u00a0dollar from clients.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s all simple stuff, too.<\/p>\n
