{"id":10151,"date":"2015-10-18T06:30:45","date_gmt":"2015-10-18T13:30:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/bensettle.com\/blog\/?p=10151"},"modified":"2015-10-18T06:30:45","modified_gmt":"2015-10-18T13:30:45","slug":"the-age-of-knavery","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bensettle.com\/blog\/the-age-of-knavery\/","title":{"rendered":"The Age Of Knavery"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>True story:<\/p>\n<p>I know a girl who always ends up with these guys that she always describes as \u201cdouche bags.\u201d At the same time, I&#8217;ve seen her go through a parade of good, decent guys who want a good girl and want to treat a girl right and all that.<\/p>\n<p>i.e. they&#8217;re into chivalry and think it still works.<\/p>\n<p>But, she always finds something wrong with these good guys.<\/p>\n<p>Something small, and pointless and, in many cases, something her douche bag boyfriends have or do too.<\/p>\n<p>In other words:<\/p>\n<p>She spurns\u00a0the chivalrous guys and chases the knaves.<\/p>\n<p>If you asked her, she\u2019d say she\u2019s an innocent victim.<\/p>\n<p>But, the reality is, she\u2019s a <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">willing<\/span> victim.<\/p>\n<p>And, you know what else?<\/p>\n<p>This happens even more in the business world.<\/p>\n<p>And today\u2019s \u201cBen Settle Show\u201d goes into great detail on how to tell if someone (or even yourself) is truly an innocent victim (hardly anyone is) or just a willing victim looking for sympathy for their bad decisions.
