(Although they are.)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>It&#8217;s NOT because they so often give super-useful bits of advice. (Although they do.)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>It&#8217;s because his emails are such PERFECT examples of how to sell with email&#8230; how to be a welcome guest in someone&#8217;s inbox rather than a persistent pest&#8230; how to sell with story&#8230; and how to create a persona that draws people to you like controversy to Donald Trump.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>But to be at the top of the copy and marketing game, just reading his emails every day isn&#8217;t enough. So the smartest copywriters and marketers subscribe to his newsletter and listen closely when he speaks on those too-rare occasions when he spills the beans on exactly how he does what he does.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>If you are a copywriter or marketer and want to get or stay at the top of the game, I&#8217;d advise you to do likewise.<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Now look, maybe you\u2019re thinking:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYeah, yeah Ben, it\u2019s easy to drop one person\u2019s name. And maybe you two are buddies and he\u2019s doing you a favor like everyone else does in the IM world.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Fair enough.<\/p>\n<p>I often think the same thing when I see such things.<\/p>\n<p>So, here are some more of David\u2019s A-list colleagues (all movers &amp; shakers in the direct response marketing world), and what they say about reading just my free daily emails:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Brian Kurtz (former Executive VP of Boardroom INC, and Target Market Magazine Marketer Of The Year)<\/strong>, who said of all the people he follows my emails are as good as it gets.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Bob Bly (the man McGraw Hill calls &#8220;America&#8217;s Top Copywriter&#8221;)<\/strong>, who says my emails are \u201cstunningly effective.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Richard Armstrong (writes record-breaking control ads for all the big direct mail publishers)<\/strong>, who says he starts his day reading the Bible and my daily email (and not necessarily in that order\u2026)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Michael Masterson (Co-founder of AWAI)<\/strong>, who said I teach, in very arresting ways, things he\u2019s been trying to teach marketers and copywriters for 30 years.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>David Garfinkel (The World&#8217;s Greatest\u00a0Copywriting Coach)<\/strong>, who called me the \u201chottest f\u2019in email copywriter on the web right now.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Gary Bencivenga (Often called the &#8220;World&#8217;s Greatest Living Copywriter&#8221;)<\/strong>, who says he has long enjoyed my website. (I have no idea if he still reads my site or not, he said that back in 2008, and I\u2019d be a fool not to use that one in this email, now wouldn\u2019t I?)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Clayton Makepeace (Called the &#8220;World&#8217;s Highest Paid Copywriter&#8221;)<\/strong>, who told me in a phone conversation I have a real gift for writing emails.
