Last month \u201cEmail Players\u201d subscriber Mary Rose Maguire was telling the Facebook group about a guy who used my style of email for one year.<\/p>\n
He quit because he just had too much business coming in.<\/p>\n
My mind reels.<\/p>\n
And, brings up something I have to say publicly every now and then:<\/p>\n
Sometimes people who leave my fold come back thinking they will be accepted back with welcome arms, but are stunned (stunned!) when I tell them to get away from me, I never knew you.<\/p>\n
(Hat tip to Jesus for that line.)<\/p>\n
Why would I do that?<\/p>\n
Why would I leave money on the table like that?<\/p>\n
Why NOT let someone like that back in?<\/p>\n
Because it goes beyond the money.<\/p>\n
I want to associate with a certain kind of customer. And people who stop doing something that works because it works \u201ctoo good\u201d make about as much sense to me as businessmen who vote for Bernie. (Unless they\u2019re just milking money from big government misery.)<\/p>\n
Those are people I avoid like the bigfoot apocalypse plague.<\/p>\n
Don’t want ’em as customers.<\/p>\n
Let them go haunt someone else.<\/p>\n
So anyway, yeah, I guess my system works.<\/p>\n
But, if you\u2019re someone who\u2019s afraid of having TOO much business, you best pass on \u201cEmail Players\u201d.<\/p>\n
I wouldn\u2019t want to cause you undo stress or anything.<\/p>\n
For everyone else?<\/p>\n
People who want more business.<\/p>\n
And, wants LOTS of it?<\/p>\n
