Over the past 9 months (give or take) my podcast Producer Jonathan and I have been experimenting with how to combine the podcasting with email to jack up response on affiliate promos we run through the show.<\/p>\n
And when I say \u201cjack up\u201d response, I ain\u2019t just whistlin\u2019 dixie.<\/p>\n
Here\u2019s the story:<\/p>\n
It started off as a brain fart I had when I asked the esteemed Ken McCarthy (who is basically the \u201cfounding father\u201d of Internet marketing as we all know it \u2014 yes, there was a time when you could fit all the people who thought you could actually sell on the Internet around a small table, and they were all considered the village idiots of Silicon Valley, and he was one of them) if I could interview him on the podcast about copywriting.<\/p>\n
This was last July.<\/p>\n
(Give or take a month).<\/p>\n
And, I figured we could sell his copywriting course (one of my favorites) using a secret method that I (as far as I know, at least \u2014 I haven\u2019t seen anyone else do it before we did) invented for monetizing a podcast using email.<\/p>\n
The result?<\/p>\n
We ended up getting $28 a click.<\/p>\n
And, it was such a raging success considering our list dynamic and how hard of a sell Ken\u2019s course was (very high ticket, and he\u2019s not known as being a \u201crock star\u201d or whatever to the bright shiny object chasers ninja-trick chasers) Ken asked if he could license my email sequence for his other affiliates so they, too, could sell a bunch of his courses.<\/p>\n
Best part:<\/p>\n
My method is ridiculously simple.<\/p>\n
(I don\u2019t do complex, I’ll let the podcast ex-spurts do that.)<\/p>\n
And, strange as it sounds, you don\u2019t even need a podcast to my method. So, even if you don\u2019t have a podcast, you can still profit like gangbusters from it.<\/p>\n
Anyway, I ain\u2019t giving this info away free.<\/p>\n
But, I am teaching it to my \u201cEmail Players\u201d subscribers.<\/p>\n
