But you know what?<\/p>\n
There\u2019s actually a valuable lesson here:<\/p>\n
You know you really got someone \u2014 i.e. elicited an emotion in them, which is always the goal of an email \u2014 when they take the time to drama queen and write you they\u2019re leaving instead of, you know, just leaving, clearly hoping you\u2019ll give them a little ego boost by apologizing for no reason and begging them to stay on board.<\/p>\n
Dames and dudes alike do it all the time \u2018round here.<\/p>\n
And, I have especially noticed many times dames like her come back.<\/p>\n
(And, sometimes, even let elBenbo know they\u2019re back in subtle or not-so-subtle ways.)<\/p>\n
Thus the power of my email methodology.<\/p>\n
When someone gets mad or pissy or whatever, and leaves and then goes out of their way to tell you they\u2019re leaving\u2026 there\u2019s a 50\/50 chance they\u2019ll be back in my experience. Your milage will vary, of course. But, there\u2019s also a chance they\u2019ll end up buying something, too, once they realize the error of their wicked ways.<\/p>\n
Doubt me all ye want on this.<\/p>\n
But I\u2019ve seen it so many times I\u2019ve lost count.<\/p>\n
And, so have certain \u201cEmail Players\u201d subscribers who tell similar tales.<\/p>\n
