But that doesn\u2019t stop me from liking (and shamelessly USING whenever applicable) one of the best phrases they use down there in the lone star state:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>\u201cAll hat, no cattle&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>(Or &#8220;big hat, no cattle&#8221;, whatever)<\/p>\n<p>What does that mean?<\/p>\n<p>Basically, it describes someone who\u2019s more image or projection than actual substance (or, as some like to say, they \u201ctalk the talk but can\u2019t walk the walk\u201d).<\/p>\n<p>This describes quite a few people online, too.<\/p>\n<p>For example, people who brag about having\u2026<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A big list but can\u2019t make a sale if their life depended on it<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>An arsenal of copywriting \u201ctricks\u201d and \u201cchokes\u201d memorized, but can\u2019t sell their way out of a paper bag<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Lots of Facebook friends &amp; Twitter followers\u2026 but no customers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Thousands of blog readers, but no sales<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>$10k worth of books on their shelves they love posting pictures on facebook of\u2026 but haven\u2019t read any of them<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>And, yes, all the latest super-duper \u201cspace age\u201d funnel software and gadgets\u2026 but can\u2019t create a funnel that makes them more than a few bucks per month<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Let\u2019s talk about the last one about funnels real quick.<\/p>\n<p>Tomorrow\u2019s Ben Settle Show podcast episode is all about how anyone (especially if you hate technology) can set up a working funnel (if you want to even call it a funnel) very quickly, that starts bringing sales, without spending a fortune on all the big funnel products, gurus, etc.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ve been using this funnel for years.<\/p>\n<p>And, so have a lot of other folks.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ll let you know when it\u2019s up tomorrow.<\/p>\n<p>Today?<\/p>\n<p>Check out our other episodes here:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.BenSettleShow.com\/blog\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">www.BenSettleShow.com\/blog<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ben Settle<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I haven\u2019t spent much time in Texas.
