Here’s my take on it:<\/p>\n
I have this mindset that if what I\u2019m writing isn\u2019t exciting me, then I throw it out and write something that *does* excite me. Otherwise, if I\u2019m bored by my own writing, then I know my audience is most likely bored out of their minds reading it.<\/p>\n
Yes, I know.<\/p>\n
Not all writers share this mindset.<\/p>\n
Some even say it\u2019s like slitting your wrists and bleeding on the page.<\/p>\n
Bah!<\/p>\n
What a miserable existence.<\/p>\n
So anyway, that\u2019s my take on it.<\/p>\n
If it ain\u2019t fun to write, toss it out.<\/p>\n
That way, sitting down to write is like always eating dessert first\u2026<\/p>\n
Of course, it helps to have guidance on how to get ideas. Like for subject lines, body copy, and all the other parts of a high-selling email.<\/p>\n
