\u201cWrite what you know\u201d<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
People can split hairs over how literally true that is, I suppose.<\/p>\n
(I, for example, don\u2019t really know if vampires have prostate problems, but I decided they did when writing my novel Vampire Apocalypse).<\/p>\n
But, with email, it can make you a lot more sales.<\/p>\n
You just have to know how to do it correctly.<\/p>\n
(Most people have no clue, especially \u201cwriters.\u201d)<\/p>\n
But, I have used this olden advice for years to make a lot of sales with email, in lots of different markets, selling lots of different products \u2014 including products that have nothing to do with what I know, or markets who couldn\u2019t care less about what I know. Do it right, and this can position you as someone worth listening to, and not someone who just pounds people with nonsensical \u201ccontent!\u201d that just bores people to death and makes them ignore you on sight, even if they don\u2019t unsubscribe.<\/p>\n
