(And really, why would you care anyway?) Instead, I\u2019m going to talk about what I\u2019m NOT thankful for.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s a list:<\/p>\n<p>(Not by any means exhaustive):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pedophiles running amok \u2014 especially in positions of power (Hollywood, Washington DC, public schools, yada yada yada) with a media that is slowly starting to accept it and, in some cases, defend it<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Corrupt judges, lawyers, and cops (see the Innocence Project for how widespread this is)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Child trafficking<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Violent protestors bought and paid for by billionaires that live overseas<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Media lies and manipulation that make what&#8217;s good seem bad and what&#8217;s bad seem good<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>And the list goes on\u2026<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>(I\u2019m just getting warmed up here, Sunshine.)<\/p>\n<p>Those are things elBenbo is *not* thankful for and hopes get more attention than videos of cats on flakebook some day, instead of being swept under the rug \u2014 \u201cnothing to see here, move along\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n<p>So go ahead, babycakes.<\/p>\n<p>Enjoy your turkey.<\/p>\n<p>Me?<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ll be wallowing in despair today.<\/p>\n<p>(While I eat turkey, drink beer, and watch football, of course\u2026)<\/p>\n<p>Tomorrow?<\/p>\n<p>Black Friday.<\/p>\n<p>I suggest avoiding Wal-Mart.<\/p>\n<p>Or, if you want to slip slowly into madness with me instead, check out my \u201cEmail Players\u201d newsletter:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.EmailPlayers.com\"><strong>www.EmailPlayers.com<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Ben Settle<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today is Thanksgiving here in the good ol\u2019 US.
