However, it is far more than just a \u201cgroup.\u201d I spent many months planning, plotting, and building out what I wanted it to be and then, around late November of 2016 \u2014 executed my evil machinations.<\/p>\n<p>Since then elBenbo\u2019s Lair has been mocked.<\/p>\n<p>Laughed at.<\/p>\n<p>Awed at (most recently by a world class psychologist who&#8217;s been written up about for his groundbreaking work \u2014 see below).<\/p>\n<p>Angered at.<\/p>\n<p>Loved on.<\/p>\n<p>And, yes, a huge profit source for those within its Walls that have eyes to hear and ears to see. For me, it has been worth far more than just about anything else I\u2019ve done up in this bid\u2019natch (I am future pacing myself here, but so far prospects are looking finger lickin\u2019 good for it). My group (or, Society, as I call it, it is FAR more than just a mere group) breaks pretty much every rule a Facebook group is supposed to follow \u2014 especially according to the FB fluffpreneurs always prattling on about \u201cengagement\u201d and \u201cauthority\u201d and \u201cinfluencers\u201d and &#8220;value&#8221; and whatever other trendy buzz words they spew out in their silly little Flakebook live videos.<\/p>\n<p>Many have tried to copy elBenbo\u2019s Lair already.<\/p>\n<p>But, it can\u2019t be duplicated.<\/p>\n<p>Not by anyone.<\/p>\n<p>(And this is by design.)<\/p>\n<p>But, guess what?<\/p>\n<p>In the April \u201cEmail Players\u201d issue I spend a lot of time showing some of the inner machinations behind what I\u2019m doing. No, not so you can \u201cswipe and deploy lol!\u201d. Nor is it a template or a checklist that will magically give you the secret to a magical Facebook kingdom.<\/p>\n<p>What it is intended to do is two fold:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">(1) Get you thinking about using a Facebook group to reach your market (and, as \u201cEmail Players\u201d subscriber Sean Kaye says, \u201cplumb the depths of human psychology\u201d)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">(2) Motivate you to take my email teachings more seriously<\/p>\n<p>As my daily emails laid the foundation for it all first.<\/p>\n<p>Goo-roo fanboys will hate it because it\u2019s not duplicatable.<\/p>\n<p>And, while elBenbo is often copied, he\u2019s never duplicated.<\/p>\n<p>Because, at the end of the day, everything I do is about personality (which you can\u2019t copy), and positioning (which you also can\u2019t copy), and the relationship you have with your market\/list (also impossible to duplicate).<\/p>\n<p>What I can do is give you a useful beacon.<\/p>\n<p>And, from there, you can make your own way.<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, the April issue goes to the printer in a few days.<\/p>\n<p>If you want in, best hurry before it goes to the printer and is too late:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.EmailPlayers.com\"><strong>www.EmailPlayers.com<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Ben Settle<\/p>\n<p><strong>P.S.<\/strong> Here is what a world-class psychologist\/former grave digger &#8212; who was snarkily opposed to me dating his daughter back when I was interested in doing as such, so you know it&#8217;s not biased &#8212; says about the group:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>&#8230;Much as I hate genuflect to Ben (because of what he would risk doing to my dear daughter Molly) Ben groks what the psychologist Rollo May said, \u201cThe opposite of courage in our society is not cowardice, it is conformity.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>From his pulpit, Ben preaches and bellows, \u201cStop conforming, think for yourself, take the road less traveled.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Too many people choose death over thinking for themselves. Not literal death like when I scooped the last shovel of dirt on the grave. But killing off parts of themselves to fit in, be accepted, do whatever it takes to avoid scorn, ridicule, rejection.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>They do what I have done too often in my own life.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Give up on what makes me alive.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>These \u201csmall compromises\u201d done often enough can lead to becoming a zombie without the fearsome looks.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>I think there is no other place on this planet that says \u201cWe kill you (banishment) if you bring value to our group.\u201d The Lair forces you to think differently.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The good folks I buried could not return from the grave and get another shot at life.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>There can be liberation, freedom, and perhaps coming back from the grave if you don\u2019t give up what makes you feel alive.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Is the Lair an antidote to the slow strangulation of conformity? Perhaps.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>In a different context, Patrick Henry eloquently stated, \u201cIs life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Forbid it, Almighty God! I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty or give me death!\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Patrick Henry faced a parallel and painful dilemma we face today: the chains of conformity vs holding on dearly to what makes you feel alive.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Stop digging your grave. Put down your shovels. Rejoice in the group.<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Again:<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s no more access to this group.<\/p>\n<p>Immigration is closed.<\/p>\n<p>And, in fact, we are ban-hammering people left and right to get the numbers *down*.
