He wondered if it had to do with making people click his terms and conditions? (It\u2019s amusing there are people pushing that as some kind &#8220;coooool tactic, man!&#8221; instead of just a good, smart principle of doing business and getting along with Google, but I digress\u2026)<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, he wanted to know why?<\/p>\n<p>Why??<\/p>\n<p>WHY???<\/p>\n<p>Why is nobody buying?<\/p>\n<p>With all those super goo-roo tactics, how could it all NOT be working?<\/p>\n<p>If he\u2019d asked me, I\u2019d have told him:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>\u201cI dunno, Son. Maybe nobody wants what you\u2019re offering. Or maybe your traffic is garbage. Or that you\u2019re out of touch with how your market wants to be sold. Or any number of things that are far more important than having trust symbols or whatever on your site.\u201d<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>More:<\/p>\n<p>My \u201cEmail Players\u201d subscribers get to ask me questions via email.<\/p>\n<p>And, you know what?<\/p>\n<p>By *far* the answer I give more than any other is:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>\u201cYou don\u2019t have an \u2018email\/copywriting\u2019 problem.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>You have a traffic\/offer problem.\u201d<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Super cool copy and subject lines won\u2019t sell a turd.<\/p>\n<p>Or, sell to people not interested in buying turds.<\/p>\n<p>Sometimes I wonder why I even bother.<\/p>\n<p>There is so much nonsense being taught \u2014 especially free on Flakebook \u2014 it\u2019s almost a full time gig dispelling all this horse shyt.<\/p>\n<p>As soon as I shovel one pile, three more piles take its place.<\/p>\n<p>But, I\u2019ll keep fighting the good fight.<\/p>\n<p>It bothers me seeing good people flounder like this.<\/p>\n<p>Enter the June \u201cEmail Players\u201d issue.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s full of proven persuasion principles that have worked for centuries, will work now (yes, even for *your* snowflake unique product\/market), and will continue to work for any of your selling endeavors regardless of what media you use (email, social media, whatever) for as long as human nature exists.<\/p>\n<p>To read more about my paper Baby, go here:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.EmailPlayers.com\"><strong>www.EmailPlayers.com<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Ben Settle<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>One of my Horde sent me an email yesterday I found quite interesting.
