\u201cBen has a lot of good stuff but I had to unsubscribe when he sent 6 EMAILS IN ONE DAY selling some affiliate thing. 6!\u201d<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The irony of a copywriter complaining about getting too many emails never ceases to amuse and entertain me.<\/p>\n
Especially when they say it\u2019s good stuff.<\/p>\n
And, especially with the invention of the delete key\u2026<\/p>\n

\u201cI have learned more from your promo emails, than I have even from the things I’ve paid for. Will be giving you money soon.\u201d<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Guess which of these two is:<\/p>\n
(1) the more serious student
\n(2) more likely to be successful<\/p>\nBut the best part was this:<\/p>\n
Apparently, according to that same fb thread, it\u2019s a FACT (fact was capitalized so it must be true) I often promote other peoples\u2019 stuff as an affiliate. I think I\u2019ve done only 3 this entire year: Sean D\u2019Souza\u2019s, Danny Iny\u2019s, and a one off email as a favor to Jon McCulloch I didn\u2019t even care to get paid for (asking him to donate the commissions to a cause on my behalf).<\/p>\n
But, be warned:<\/p>\n
I have 2 more affiliate campaigns planned this year, and that\u2019ll probably be it.<\/p>\n
Total of 5 in a year.<\/p>\n
Not sure that qualified as often, but I\u2019ve been wrong before\u2026<\/p>\n
Anyway, to paraphrase Mia in \u201cPulp Fiction\u201d, sometimes when copywriters get together they\u2019re worse than a sewing circle\u2026<\/p>\n
Immoral of the story?<\/p>\n
People will come and go from your list for any number of reasons.<\/p>\n
Might as well sell them something while they\u2019re there\u2026<\/p>\n
