One of the most popular speeches\/trainings I\u2019ve ever done is my \u201cVillains\u201d talk. I\u2019ve only taught it 3 times \u2014 at AWAI\u2019s 2016 Copywriting Bootcamp & Job Fair (where I’ll be speaking again later this year, details forthcoming), to one of the great Brian Kurtz\u2019s masterclass\u2019s, and at Ray Higdon\u2019s Personal Branding Bootcamp.<\/p>\n
This talk has nothing to do with my Villains book.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s all about email.<\/p>\n
And, specifically, how I use a \u201crogues gallery\u201d of villains to pump out all the emails I want, on demand, without writers block, hesitation, or struggle.<\/p>\n
Anyway, one of the ways I do it is via loneliness.<\/p>\n
Yes, Yours Cruelly teaches people how to profit from other peoples\u2019 loneliness.<\/p>\n
But, not in an unethical or evil way.<\/p>\n
Instead, it\u2019s a way people want to read and, even more importantly, want to buy from when they read it. I don\u2019t know of very many (any, really) other people who do it the way I do it (much less teach it). But, it\u2019s one of those under-the-radar ways of writing emails that slips right into your prospect\u2019s psychology, and helps them solve a problem that is not only grating to their mind, but also their bodies \u2014 as loneliness can cause all kinds of health problems.<\/p>\n
In fact, it\u2019s fast becoming known that being lonely is as dangerous as being obese.<\/p>\n
And, can wreak havoc on your brain and body chemistry.<\/p>\n
(Including neurological damage, inflammation, dementia, and even premature death.)<\/p>\n
Anyway, here\u2019s why I bring it up:<\/p>\n
In the upcoming May \u201cEmail Players\u201d issue I talk more about how to milk money from other peoples\u2019 loneliness (in a way they will appreciate, not resent, you\u2019ll be doing them a favor), along with two real-life examples (in two different markets \u2014 for modeling and studying the psychology, not swiping and copying or \u201clifting\u201d) that both made a healthy amount of rupees.<\/p>\n
