{"id":13081,"date":"2018-08-25T09:25:27","date_gmt":"2018-08-25T16:25:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/bensettle.com\/blog\/?p=13081"},"modified":"2018-08-25T09:25:27","modified_gmt":"2018-08-25T16:25:27","slug":"the-subject-line-skeptics-love-to-read-respond-to","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bensettle.com\/blog\/the-subject-line-skeptics-love-to-read-respond-to\/","title":{"rendered":"The Subject Line Skeptics Love To Read &#038; Respond To"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The subject line skeptics love to read and respond to<\/p>\n<p>One of the most profitable things I ever done learned was from the great Ken McCarthy (founding father of internet marketing as we all know it) in his copywriting course:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The vast majority of people will never buy from direct response.<\/li>\n<li>About 5% of people will buy everything<\/li>\n<li>Another 10% &#8211; to 25% will need to be sold \u2014 and are the skeptics<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Now, I\u2019m no math jeenius.<\/p>\n<p>But, it seems to me there are 2-5 times more skeptical buyers than hyper buyers.
