Admittedly I don\u2019t get that many trolls these days.<\/p>\n
Yes, a few still ankle bite now and then, especially during the BerserkerMail launch.<\/p>\n
But I suspect many are on to my antics and don\u2019t bother.<\/p>\n
Yet there are many benefits to having trolls haunting your email list & social media pages, spreading lies & fake news about you, and trying to bring some significance to their pathetic little existences by latching onto you for whatever reason \u2014 or no reason at all \u2014 they chose.<\/p>\n
Like, for example:<\/p>\n
1. Easy profits \u2014 if you know how to \u201cflip\u201d their nonsense into sales.<\/p>\n
2. Better email delivery rates \u2014 way I understand it is, on at least some level, when they mindlessly reply with whatever mind vomit they reply with, Gmail, Yahoo, etc see they are interacting & engaging with a real human, which can help your inbox delivery.<\/p>\n
3. Entertainment \u2014 I know it can be hair-raising for some, but after a while hearing from them is like the hitman in the movie \u201cTrue Romance\u201d talking about killing people\u2026 the first one is the bytch of the bunch, the second time is more \u201cdiluted\u201d, and eventually he does it just to see their expression change. So it is with trolls, in my experience, dispatching them is routine.<\/p>\n
4. Exposing the animal they are \u2014 so you can proceed accordingly (block \u2018em, bait \u2018em in, profit from \u2018em, whatever).<\/p>\n
5. Good sport \u2014 for your own amusement and that of those you share it with.<\/p>\n
There are many more benefits to having a troll.<\/p>\n
The key is to give them nothing, and take from them everything.<\/p>\n
