A bloke in France once asked why I don\u2019t use a printer in Europe.<\/p>\n
Specifically, for European subscribers to cut costs and (I quote) –<\/p>\n
\u201cprotect planet earth a bit in terms of carbon footprint.\u201d<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
My answer at the time:<\/p>\n
If anything my righteous carbon footprint is way too small. Especially since I haven\u2019t flown anywhere since Fall of 2018 when I spoke at a couple events on the East coast, and my contempt for travel reached its boiling point.<\/p>\n
Thus my carbon footprint is truly rookie numbers.<\/p>\n
Daddy’s gotta pump that carbon footprint size back up.<\/p>\n
I shall NOT rest until the world is turned into Mordor…<\/p>\n
That said, I am a big fan of recycling.<\/p>\n
At least, when it comes to emails.<\/p>\n
Enter another question at around the same tie about the idea of \u201crecycling\u201d emails that I do all the time, oftentimes making more sales the second, third, or fourth time I use an email than the first time I use it.<\/p>\n
Yes, AOC, it\u2019s true.<\/p>\n
When it comes to making your bank account greener, recycling those evil emails is just fine.<\/p>\n
In fact, here\u2019s another amusing thought:<\/p>\n
The cold, hard numbers over the past close to 20 years since I started doing this have proven that if I only reused the ones that \u201cwOrKeD!\u201d the first time I\u2019d be killing my own sales. Especially since, so many of my most profitable emails did bupkis the first time I used them, but pulled all kinds of new business when recycling them later.<\/p>\n
Which is why I told him:<\/p>\n
Yes, by all means recycle good emails.<\/p>\n
It can do wonders for your bank account\u2019s environment.<\/p>\n
Of course, to write recyclable emails, you gotta learn how to write them in the first place.<\/p>\n
And that is a job for \u201cEmail Players.\u201d<\/p>\n
