Got a great question from a guy using audio in his marketing.<\/p>\n
He put together an awesome little piece selling his service in his local community, but he wasn’t getting any action, and he couldn’t figure out why.<\/p>\n
He knows audio works (it’s used by everyone from Ken McCarthy<\/strong> to sell his $2,000+ System Seminar<\/a><\/strong><\/em> each year… to Dan Kennedy<\/strong> selling his “flagship” Magnetic Marketing<\/em> system… to affiliate marketers<\/a><\/strong> who just want to beef up their sales and stick out from the crowd).<\/p>\n Even so… it just wasn’t happening for this guy.<\/p>\n So he let me listen and, while it’s truly a great audio piece, it’s still missing one huge, critical element.<\/p>\n An element I suspect will turn it from a selling “dud” to a selling “stud” as soon as he implements it.<\/p>\n What is it missing?<\/p>\n Making an OFFER at the end.<\/p>\n Not just plugging his service (although that is a “must.”)<\/p>\n But giving someone a reason<\/em> to act\/buy\/order NOW.<\/strong><\/p>\n Fact is, these audio sales letters are exactly like text sales letters — just in different “clothes<\/em>” (so to speak).<\/p>\n And, just like with a regular sales letter, it’s extremely important to include a reason to buy now — and not put it off until later.<\/p>\n It can be any “excuse” to act you want — exclusive bonuses, scarcity, time-limited discount, etc<\/p>\n The important thing is you give them a reason to order right NOW.<\/p>\n Otherwise, your listeners probably won’t do anything.<\/p>\n Ben<\/p>\n P.S.<\/strong> If you’re interested in audio marketing (and I think everyone<\/em> should be doing it, personally), Michael Senoff and I put together an 80-minute lesson<\/a><\/strong> we give away free<\/em> at:<\/p>\n It’s mostly about using audio to create info products.
