How they are ALL very important.  But how they are not necessarily the moolah-making <em>panaceas<\/em> everyone thinks?<\/p>\n<p>Well, that email prompted quite a few responses.<\/p>\n<p>And along with the responses, some (good) guesses at what IS king.<\/p>\n<p>For example, one astute subscriber said &#8220;action&#8221; is king.<\/p>\n<p>Is action king?<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t know about that.<\/p>\n<p>Action is <strong>MEGA<\/strong> important, no doubt.  But&#8230; it&#8217;s like saying if I flap my arms enough I&#8217;ll eventually fly.  I mean, you have to take the right KIND of action.<\/p>\n<p>Lots of &#8220;arm flappers&#8221; are befuddled at why they aren&#8217;t making bank.<\/p>\n<p>Another person said establishing <em>trust<\/em> was king.<\/p>\n<p>Hey, I&#8217;m ALL about establishing trust.  <\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s one of my favorite ways to sell.  <\/p>\n<p>But it&#8217;s still not king.  <\/p>\n<p>After all, there are many people who you probably trust online but have never bought from, eh?  Because, while it&#8217;s an awesome (underused) sales tool, trust ain&#8217;t king when selling online.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, another smart subscriber said <strong>knowing your market<\/strong> is king.<\/p>\n<p>I admit&#8230; I used to think so, too.<\/p>\n<p>After all, he (or she) who knows their market best &#8220;wins&#8221;, yeah?<\/p>\n<p>While that&#8217;s true, at the same time, there are millions (literally) of marketers who know their markets like the back of their hand who still aren&#8217;t making significant scratch. <\/p>\n<p>Reason why is because knowing your market isn&#8217;t (IMHO) king.<\/p>\n<p>Look, y&#8217;all get an &#8220;A&#8221; for effort on this.<\/p>\n<p>These are ALL important (even <em>vital<\/em>) components.<\/p>\n<p>But NONE of them are king.<\/p>\n<p>Frankly, the real king isn&#8217;t obvious.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, it doesn&#8217;t even LOOK like a king or like it even belongs in the &#8220;deck&#8221; at all.
