DO:<\/strong> Mail often (even every day). <\/p>\n DON’T:<\/strong> Only mail when you have something to sell.<\/p>\n DO:<\/strong> Be yourself — “warts” and all. <\/p>\n DON’T:<\/strong> Try to ape your favorite goo-oo. <\/p>\n DO:<\/strong> Give good information.<\/p>\n DON’T:<\/strong> Bore people with that good information.<\/p>\n DO:<\/strong> Plug something in every email. <\/p>\n DON’T:<\/strong> Cater to freebie seekers.<\/p>\n DO:<\/strong> Use controversy (if relevant).<\/p>\n DON’T:<\/strong> Let anyone who whines about it suck up your time.<\/p>\n DO:<\/strong> Keep your emails pithy.<\/p>\n DON’T:<\/strong> Think that longer emails can’t work, too.<\/p>\n Whew!<\/p>\n I’m getting dizzy writing in this “DO — DON’T” format.<\/p>\n Anyway, that’s all I know today.<\/p>\n
