\n“Ben, why in the world do you write an email every day? Don’t people get sick of hearing from you? Aren’t you getting spam complaints? How come you do it and none of the gurus do?”<\/strong>\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
All excellent questions.<\/p>\n
And I thought it’d be fun to list some of the reasons why I email every day (or almost every week day, to be more accurate).<\/p>\n
Ready?<\/p>\n
OK, here goes…<\/p>\n
1. Nobody<\/strong> else in my market does it (so I stick out) <\/p>\n
2. Demonstrates<\/strong> my knowledge each day (I once heard it like this: if you’re going to position yourself as an “expert” about something, shouldn’t you have something to say about that subject every day?)<\/p>\n
3. Turns OFF<\/strong> the people I don’t want as customers<\/p>\n
4. Turns ON<\/strong> the people I do want as customers (and has decreased my spam complaints to almost zero)<\/p>\n
5. Helps me generate more ideas<\/strong> for other projects<\/p>\n
6. Constantly adds content<\/strong> to my blog <\/p>\n
7. More sales<\/strong> <\/p>\n
8. My writing is always getting faster<\/strong> (a LOT faster)<\/p>\n
9. Helps me identify my best customers<\/strong><\/p>\n
10. Therapeutic (I almost HAVE<\/strong> to do it now)<\/p>\n
So anyway, those are a few reasons.<\/p>\n
