One of my favorite stories in the Bible is in the Book of Judges.<\/p>\n
It’s about a wandering Levite (the “priest” tribe of ancient Israel) and how his concubine was viciously raped to death by some psychopaths who lived amongst the Benjamites.<\/p>\n
The Levite (understandably) wanted justice.<\/p>\n
But due to the times (mass anarchy and moral apathy), he knew he had to do something radical<\/em> to get anyone to care.<\/p>\n So what did he do?<\/p>\n Beg for help?<\/p>\n Start a posse?<\/p>\n Give up?<\/p>\n Uhm… no.<\/p>\n What this dude did was cut his concubine’s corpse into 12 pieces, and sent a piece to each of the 12 tribes!<\/p>\n Now THAT’S impact<\/span>.<\/p>\n There was no hemming and hawing.<\/p>\n No “brushing it off.”<\/p>\n And no ignoring<\/em> the message.<\/strong><\/p>\n And guess what?<\/p>\n Great marketing also has this kind of hardcore impact, too — and asks the exact same question the Levite no doubt did: “What’s it gonna take to get peoples’ UNDIVIDED attention?”<\/em><\/p>\n Obviously, don’t do anything gross<\/em>.<\/p>\n I mean, let’s keep this in context, k?<\/p>\n But the mere act of asking the above question will generate all kinds<\/em> of profitable ideas that make you instantly stick out.<\/p>\n And guess what else?<\/p>\n Tomorrow’s Ben Settle Show is all about getting attention.<\/p>\n And, doing it in a way that has IMPACT.<\/p>\n The kind of way where someone can’t “unread” what you write.<\/p>\n Watch for my signal tomorrow, Batman.<\/p>\n In the meantime, download past shows here:<\/p>\n
