But I couldn&#8217;t help but laugh out loud when I read an article about how, somewhere up in Canada (I think it was Canada) the marketing people for the hit zombie TV show &#8220;The Walking Dead&#8221; put up a billboard ad&#8230; right next to a funeral parlor!<\/p>\n<p>I have no idea if that was done intentionally.<\/p>\n<p>But the funeral parlor was pretty mad.<\/p>\n<p>And they demanded it be taken down.<\/p>\n<p>But, I wonder if that billboard actually helped their business?<\/p>\n<p>I guess we&#8217;ll never know.<\/p>\n<p><strong>But being unconventional like that is powerful.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It makes you stand out.<\/p>\n<p>And, it breathes fresh new life into your business while all your competitors <em>lurch<\/em> around like zombies, aimlessly wandering to and fro looking for a warm-fleshed meal.<\/p>\n<p>Oh well.<\/p>\n<p>Just food for your brain&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Ben Settle<\/p>\n<p><strong>P.S.<\/strong> I almost forgot!<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve been doing a series of free (but advanced) copywriting trainings this week on Ryan Healy&#8217;s blog.
