It’s amusing when people challenge me about video vs email.<\/p>\n
As far as I’m concerned, there’s no contest:<\/p>\n
Email wins with a sucker punch.<\/strong><\/p>\n In fact, one of my friends who LOVES making videos (and teaches it) recently put me to the test and used my 30-day email game plan (found in “The Email Players Playbook” which is sent to Email Players<\/a><\/strong> subscribers).<\/p>\n Here’s what happened…<\/p>\n Hey Ben<\/strong><\/p>\n I am $290 richer today because of you…all from one email!<\/strong><\/p>\n Here is what happened and how I did it.<\/strong><\/p>\n In one of my niches, I sell a home business for $459. I had about 3 months of autoresponder messages that were doing so\/so. People were joining and buying “some” stuff. However, I took your 30 day challenge and wrote “Settle Style”. You know I am a video guy and don’t like to write but I did it and LOVED it.<\/strong><\/p>\n It was actually a lot of fun.<\/strong><\/p>\n I opened a spreadsheet and wrote out 20 email subject lines.<\/strong><\/p>\n This was HUGE because it helped me to get in the writing momentum.<\/strong><\/p>\n By the way, this was last week (Sept 6th).<\/strong><\/p>\n One of my emails was for a free coaching call with me. I got several people to respond. One of them was E.J. who I had spoken to in the past. We did a quick call. As of 12:26 pm central time today, September 9th, E.J. from New York signed up into my business.<\/strong><\/p>\n I made $290.<\/strong><\/p>\n Pretty cool right?<\/strong><\/p>\n One email…that took me literally 5 minutes to write, made $290.<\/strong><\/p>\n I had to let you know…<\/strong><\/p>\n God Bless<\/strong><\/p>\n Dave Dutton<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n How do you like them mangos?<\/p>\n This is just one of many examples why in my humble (but ALWAYS accurate) opinion, if you’re not using email, you’re leaving mucho $$ on ye olde table.
