I’m a big fan of the AMC channel.<\/p>\n
They have cool shows like “Breaking Bad” and “The Walking Dead”. And, believe it or not, they do something I’ve used for the last few years to create some seriously profitable product launches and special sales with email.<\/p>\n
Something easy and simple.<\/p>\n
And that gets exponentially<\/em> more sales than normal.<\/p>\n Want to know what it is?<\/p>\n Well, I’ll give you a hint:<\/p>\n If you watched (for example) AMC throughout the day they launched the second season of “The Walking Dead” a few weeks back, you probably noticed a count down timer on the screen moving towards the time when the new episode airs.<\/p>\n It counted down ALL day.<\/p>\n And it was there constantly during all their shows.<\/p>\n Plus, they continually plugged the premiere episode in commercials throughout the day, too, so you couldn’t possibly NOT know about it.<\/p>\n The result?<\/p>\n Extremely HIGH ratings!<\/strong><\/p>\n (The highest ratings for a drama in basic cable history.)<\/p>\n People couldn’t help<\/em> but watch.<\/p>\n (Even if they had no desire to before).<\/p>\n Anyway, so there’s the hint.<\/p>\n It’s a powerful concept that’s one part of my email launch\/special sale process (I use it for both) that has worked like gangbusters.<\/p>\n Not just for me, but clients, too.<\/p>\n (Plus, also friends I’ve shown it to.)<\/p>\n And you know what?<\/p>\n I’m teaching this in the December “Email Players” issue<\/p>\n And, I’m teaching it with a real-life example — with the entire process (and all the emails used) psychoanalyzed and handed to you on a silver platter so you can sally forth and do thou likewise.<\/p>\n But this baby goes to print soon.<\/p>\n To subscribe in time go to:<\/p>\n
