An email student gets attacked:<\/p>\n
“Ben, since learning and doing emails your way I’ve had a lot of great success and more sales, but I’m also hearing from people who hate my guts! Is this normal???”<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Indeed it is.<\/p>\n
And it’s GOOD, too.<\/p>\n
You’re on the right track, stud.<\/p>\n
In fact, just recently I’ve been called all kinds of lovely names by people who simply disagreed with something I’ve said — like “asshole”… “huckster”… and even “psychopath” by a well-known Internet marketing teacher. (Except, according to him, just not a very “charming” psychopath. What does he mean I’m not charming? WTF???)<\/p>\n
And you know what?<\/p>\n
I’m thrilled<\/em>\u00a0by it all.<\/p>\n
Means I’m doing something right.<\/p>\n
Maybe even a LOT of things right.<\/p>\n
Believe it or not, you can often gauge your effectiveness with email by how many people hate on you, despise you and envy you.<\/p>\n
So keep up the good work!<\/p>\n
Plus, realize this:<\/p>\n
Anyone who dares stick their heads above the fray and give an\u00a0opinion that takes others out of their cozy wittle comfort zones is\u00a0gonna get shot at. So when you do email correctly you’re almost\u00a0guaranteed to get a steamy<\/em> pile of hate mail.<\/p>\n
Don’t worry about it, though.<\/p>\n
It’s a badge of honor.<\/p>\n
It’ll put some hair on your chest.<\/p>\n
And, it can also put money in your pocket.<\/p>\n
