{"id":5368,"date":"2015-01-13T06:30:32","date_gmt":"2015-01-13T14:30:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/bensettle.com\/blog\/?p=5368"},"modified":"2015-01-13T06:30:32","modified_gmt":"2015-01-13T14:30:32","slug":"how-to-get-unlimited-ideas-for-writing-emails","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bensettle.com\/blog\/how-to-get-unlimited-ideas-for-writing-emails\/","title":{"rendered":"How To Get Unlimited Ideas For Writing Emails"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In which the question is asked&#8230;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>&#8220;you recommend emailing everyday. but how do you keep generating content ideas in order to make it happen?&#8221;<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>A good question.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s the way I see it:<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re positioning yourself as an expert (or even an ex-spurt) or a leader in your market&#8230; and don&#8217;t have something (anything) to say each day&#8230; then mayhaps you&#8217;re not the expert\/leader you say you are.<\/p>\n<p>Hey, don&#8217;t take this personally.<\/p>\n<p>Consider it a <em>challenge<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>A challenge to study your market harder.<\/p>\n<p>Dig more into your product&#8217;s benefits and applications.<\/p>\n<p>And gain a deep (not shallow &#8212; like most people selling online) understanding of your competition, your market&#8217;s psychology (you have done a psyche profile of your market, right&#8230;?) and all the things that make you the best person to buy from or hire.<\/p>\n<p>More:<\/p>\n<p>Plus, you KEEP stuffing your mind with other facts and info.<\/p>\n<p>Things unrelated to your business.<\/p>\n<p>As the great copywriter Gene Schwartz taught, you keep feeding your mind with anything that will stick.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Then what happens?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All that info mixes in your mind.<\/p>\n<p>Ideas pop out of nowhere.<\/p>\n<p>And you start writing about things nobody else has even thought of before, making you an original voice that demands to be heard.<\/p>\n<p>Getting ideas is no longer the problem.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s REMEMBERING them all.<\/p>\n<p>Yeah, it&#8217;s work.<\/p>\n<p>Weeks and months (and years) of work.<\/p>\n<p>And it&#8217;s ongoing &#8212; you NEVER stop the process.<\/p>\n<p>But this is what separates the men from the boys, and what will make emails flow out of you as naturally as BS flows from a goo-roo&#8217;s lips.<\/p>\n<p>As for the &#8220;how tos'&#8221; of email&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s where &#8220;Email Players&#8221; comes in.<\/p>\n<p>No, it&#8217;s not cheap.<\/p>\n<p>And it&#8217;s not for the lazy.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s also not for people who are easily offended.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, case in point:<\/p>\n<p>The February issue is probably going to be controversial to anyone\u00a0who is politically correct or doesn&#8217;t like when I teach business\u00a0and marketing lessons drawn from my experiences selling in (and\u00a0participating in) the dating market.<\/p>\n<p>(I didn&#8217;t pick Valentine&#8217;s Day month to teach it for nuttin.)<\/p>\n<p>Subscription details at:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.EmailPlayers.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">www.EmailPlayers.com<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ben Settle<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In which the question is asked&#8230; &#8220;you recommend emailing everyday. but how do you keep generating content ideas in order to make it happen?&#8221; A good question.
