{"id":5960,"date":"2012-06-20T06:00:55","date_gmt":"2012-06-20T13:00:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/bensettle.com\/blog\/?p=5960"},"modified":"2012-06-20T06:00:55","modified_gmt":"2012-06-20T13:00:55","slug":"why-you-should-blatantly-pitch-in-emails","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bensettle.com\/blog\/why-you-should-blatantly-pitch-in-emails\/","title":{"rendered":"Why You Should Blatantly Pitch In Emails"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>What&#8217;s with this anti-blatant pitch attitude online?<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s like people have been so indoctrinated with one goo-roo after another telling them to never pitch&#8230; just give away all your best ideas freely&#8230; or just do some lame half-assed pitch in the PS or whatever, safely hidden away so nobody (GASP!) unsubscribes.<\/p>\n<p>Well I&#8217;m here to tell you it just ain&#8217;t so.<\/p>\n<p>You CAN pitch blatantly.<\/p>\n<p>You SHOULD pitch blatantly.<\/p>\n<p><strong>And, dang it, you WILL pitch blatantly (and LIKE it) when I&#8217;m done with you.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There are many reasons to blatantly pitch.<\/p>\n<p>Maybe not every day.<\/p>\n<p>But, at least sometimes.<\/p>\n<p>A few big reasons include:<\/p>\n<p><strong>1. More sales<\/strong> (isn&#8217;t that reason enough?)<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Sets the tone you&#8217;re in business<\/strong> (and not a charity)<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Gets your solution into more hands<\/strong> (isn&#8217;t that what it&#8217;s ultimately all about?)<\/p>\n<p><strong>4.
