Seems reader Martha wasn’t happy about last week’s FaceBook email:<\/p>\n
“And just when i was about to sign up\u00a0for email players…you let me down Ben”<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
It’s amusing she thinks I care.<\/p>\n
I don’t.<\/p>\n
In fact, she’s exactly the kind of person I DON’T want subscribing.<\/p>\n
And, have even refused to sell to in the past.<\/p>\n
Why?<\/p>\n
Well, I’m sure she’s a good enough cat and all.<\/p>\n
So it’s nothing personal.<\/p>\n
But you don’t read my stuff to get the warm fuzzies from political\u00a0correctness or to not get anything but my unrepentant opinion.\u00a0(And, let’s face it, if it’s my opinion, then that makes it a\u00a0*fact*). What’s funny is virtually everyone agreed with my opinion\u00a0(i.e. fact) FaceBook is stealing guys’ ballz because they know I’m\u00a0right about it, and am just one of the few willing to say it.<\/p>\n
Whatever the case, I’ve said it before:<\/p>\n
I don’t practice “attraction” marketing.<\/p>\n
I’m a REPULSION marketing kinda guy.<\/strong><\/p>\n
That means being polarizing.<\/p>\n
Saying things that WILL sometimes offend someone. (Hard not to when\u00a0people are so easily offended today…)<\/p>\n
And (gasp!) telling the truth.<\/p>\n
That’s just the way I roll, Batman.<\/p>\n
In fact, let me be perfectly blunt:<\/p>\n
If you want to subscribe, great!<\/p>\n
Let’s make lots of $ales together using email.<\/p>\n
If you don’t, I couldn’t care less.<\/p>\n
So it’s ALL good either way.<\/p>\n
The newsletter ain’t everyone’s cup of tea.<\/p>\n
And, neither am I.<\/p>\n
