And while it has nothing to do with business or marketing or selling… I use it as my guide to business, marketing and sales in virtually every ad, email and marketing piece I create.<\/p>\n

Why?<\/p>\n

What’s the big deal?<\/p>\n

Because I prefer my readers to be hot or cold.<\/p>\n

Someone who is hot, is not only ready to buy, but is ready to solve whatever problem the product I’m selling solves.<\/p>\n

And someone who’s cold?<\/p>\n

They will move on.<\/p>\n

Hopefully unsubscribe from my list.<\/p>\n

And, find the solution\/business\/product that does turn them on — and spend their money on that, instead.<\/p>\n

Hot or cold is GOOD.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Lukewarm is bad.<\/p>\n

Lukewarm people suck up your time.<\/p>\n

Waste your bandwidth.<\/p>\n

And, never make a decision.<\/p>\n

They are often the people who wander around from one list to the next… never buying, rarely committing… and always complaining.<\/p>\n

They’re the blokes who want everything NOW.<\/p>\n

Everything FAST.<\/p>\n

And, yes, everything FREE.<\/p>\n

Screw that sideways.<\/p>\n

That’s why I do everything I can to “spew” them off my lists… to get them to unsubscribe… and, to hopefully, never hear from them.<\/p>\n

Hey, I know that’s not “nice.”<\/p>\n

But if it’s good enough for Jesus, it’s good enough for me.<\/p>\n

And so, it’s the “Email Players” way of selling.<\/p>\n

No… it won’t make you popular.<\/p>\n

But it can make you more sales.<\/p>\n

And make business more fun.<\/p>\n
