Looks like the wagging tongues of the BenSettle.com list were excited by Friday’s “anti-professional” email. And the question that kept coming in was “Ben show me some examples besides you of other anti-professionals”<\/p>\n
My wish is your command:<\/p>\n
All are\/were anti-professionals.<\/p>\n
Or, at least possess(d) anti-professional tendencies.<\/p>\n
Now, a word of warning:<\/p>\n
I am NOT suggesting everyone be this way.<\/p>\n
One big reason why is, most (I’d guesstimate 97% of online marketers) are not “wired” for it. They’re simply way too in need of approval and afraid they might (gasp!) offend others. Nor do they have a long term vision or mind of their own (i.e. the swipe and copycat culture of cheapness online).<\/p>\n
And, thus, will just come off as fake.<\/p>\n
Phony.<\/p>\n
And, kinda desperate.<\/p>\n
It’s just not “in” them.<\/p>\n
That’s one of the main reasons I try to repel such people from even wanting to subscribe to “Email Players” — it will do them zero good long term.<\/p>\n
It’s really a letter for anti-professionals.<\/p>\n
Yes, professionals can (and do) benefit from it.<\/p>\n
And no, UNprofessionals won’t.<\/p>\n
(They’re always wanting to trick and manipulate people into buying, which is the exact opposite of what I teach).<\/p>\n
But really, it’s for anti-professionals.<\/p>\n
For everyone else?<\/p>\n
They should pass.<\/p>\n
And, go with more conventional training.<\/p>\n
(There’s plenty out there.)<\/p>\n
