But they annoy everyone with their silly multi page essays on why perfect spelling is crucial to your sales when, in reality, the opposite is true.<\/p>\n<p>In many cases typos <em>help<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>(They make you &#8220;unokay&#8221; and more &#8220;real&#8221; &#8212; it&#8217;s persuasion 101&#8230;)<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, they&#8217;re also losers in the marketing game.<\/p>\n<p>Reason why is they don&#8217;t know how to sell.<\/p>\n<p>They don&#8217;t realize nobody cares about a typo.<\/p>\n<p>Or a little botched grammar.<\/p>\n<p>Or that most people don&#8217;t know they&#8217;re even reading a typo.<\/p>\n<p>Worse:<\/p>\n<p>Anyone who wouldn&#8217;t buy because of a misspelled a word is not only a terrible customer who will be a huge thorn in your gluteus assimus, but they don&#8217;t even <em>deserve<\/em> your product.<\/p>\n<p>I say let &#8217;em suffer.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">A spelling nazi&#8217;s tears mean my joy<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>So usually I just ignore &#8217;em.<\/p>\n<p>But, sometimes, I&#8217;ll reply with:<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8220;When I want your opinion, I&#8217;ll beat it out of you.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Or&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8220;How much $$ did your last email make?&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Or&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8220;tl;dr&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Short for &#8220;too long, didn&#8217;t read&#8221; &#8212; it amuses me to send them into a nerd rage knowing they spent probably an hour writing me, triple checking their spelling and grammar&#8230; by letting them know I didn&#8217;t even read their dorky unsolicited advice.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s like booting Brainy out of the smurf village on his fat head&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, here&#8217;s the point:<\/p>\n<p>The key to email profits ain&#8217;t spelling.<\/p>\n<p>Or grammar.<\/p>\n<p>Or perfect prose.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s writing emails people <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">like<\/span> reading and buying from.<\/p>\n<p>I teach this in the &#8220;Email Players&#8221; newsletter.<\/p>\n<p>And, it&#8217;s easier than you think.<\/p>\n<p>More info at:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.EmailPlayers.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>www.EmailPlayers.com<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Ben Settle<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There are few things more pathetic than a spelling nazi.
