Let’s chat about \u201cThe Matrix\u201d.<\/p>\n
There is a scene when Neo visits \u201cThe Oracle\u201d.<\/p>\n

The meaning of which is this:<\/p>\n
They are living in a computer generated world.<\/p>\n
Nothing is technically \u201creal\u201d in the Matrix.<\/p>\n
Not the air they breathe, or the taxes they pay, of the jobs they go to or the cars they drive, etc \u2014 it\u2019s all a computer program they live in. And by realizing the spoon isn\u2019t real, isn\u2019t governed by the \u201crules\u201d (i.e. laws of physics, etc) of the real world, it can be manipulated and bent.<\/p>\n
Yes, tough guy, this applies to your emails.<\/p>\n
In fact, understanding this changes everything.<\/p>\n
For example:<\/p>\n
People get so bent out of shape about \u201cwriting.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cOh Ben, it\u2019s so haaaaard, I can\u2019t write!\u201d<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Nonsense.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s only hard because you\u2019re trying to bend the spoon.<\/p>\n
When, in reality, there is no spoon.<\/p>\n
By that I mean, \u201cwriting\u201d isn\u2019t real.<\/p>\n
The words are from your brain.<\/p>\n
Not from your fingers.<\/p>\n
Or your keyboard.<\/p>\n
Or your word processing program.<\/p>\n
Your brain is truly a magnificently designed piece of equipment that is FAR more powerful than any computer or human-created machine. From the moment you\u2019re born to the second you breathe out your last breath, it records, catalogs, and processes every \u201cbyte\u201d of information you receive from your 5 senses.<\/p>\n
Every sound you\u2019ve heard.<\/p>\n
Every object you\u2019ve touched.<\/p>\n
Every thing you\u2019ve seen.<\/p>\n
Every food you\u2019ve tasted.<\/p>\n
And, yes, every fart you\u2019ve smelled.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s all there, inside your brain, crunching that data with more power than any \u201csuper computer\u201d ever created. It regulates your body temperature, it keeps you breathing when you\u2019re sleeping, and it basically keeps you alive in the background. It also feeds you ideas and sifts and sorts data so you can use it to accomplish goals and solve problems.<\/p>\n
And guess what?<\/p>\n
You have this massive power as your ally.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s yours to use as you want.<\/p>\n
And yet, you\u2019re telling me you can\u2019t write a simple email every day designed to sell your product or service?<\/p>\n
