In fact, they didn’t even have a sales page until the last day.<\/p>\n
Pretty cool, eh?<\/p>\n
But riddle me this:<\/p>\n
Remind me why everyone is toiling away their lives creating long, droning sales pages and\/or videos, killing their backs and going blind looking at a computer screen all day again?<\/p>\n
Not to say a good sales page doesn’t help.<\/p>\n
It definitely does.<\/p>\n
But, don’t waste time obsessing over one, either.<\/p>\n
Get those emails out.<\/p>\n
Make sales.<\/p>\n
And, while you’re doing that, optimize your funnel.<\/p>\n
Oh, and speaking of copywriters and emails…<\/p>\n
Monday I helped teach a mastermind\/workshop in San Diego. One of our clients who got BBQ’d on the “hot seat” was Ryan McGrath representing Agora. I got to talking with him and it turns out Agora has a TON of copywriting gigs — even if you’re a newbie who has no reputation and hasn’t figured out all the butts to kiss yet at seminars.<\/p>\n
Anyway, he sent me a LONG list of job openings.<\/p>\n
It’s like a newbie copywriter’s wet dream.<\/p>\n
If I was a new copywriter I’d be on this like white on rice.<\/p>\n
Seems to me the tests you’d get to see, the experience you’d gain, the contacts you’d make… would be like getting a 10 year copywriting “crash course” in a matter of weeks and months. And, getting freelance opportunities like this is a “perk” of being an “Email Players” subscriber.<\/p>\n
No, don’t subscribe JUST for that.<\/p>\n
(Only a fool would do that, and a few have to their shame…)<\/p>\n
