They were all decent people.<\/p>\n
And, it was fun at times.<\/p>\n
But, mostly, it was painfully dull<\/span>.<\/strong><\/p>\n Why?<\/p>\n Because ALL they talked about was their jobs… gossip about their co-workers… (and about each other, when one of them wasn’t around)… and drone on about how dumb their bosses were, yada yada yada.<\/p>\n I tell ya it was like nails on a chalkboard.<\/p>\n I don’t know about you…<\/p>\n But I’d rather be water boarded than listen to people constantly complain about their boring jobs, their evil bosses and their lazy, back stabbing co-workers.<\/p>\n Especially when it’s their choice to be there.<\/p>\n (Viva Corporate America 2.0!)<\/p>\n So yes, it was dull.<\/p>\n But you know what?<\/p>\n It was also extremely PROFITABLE, too.<\/p>\n And I’ve made many more sales as a result.<\/p>\n How?<\/p>\n Because I’d take mental notes.<\/p>\n Catalog their biggest complaints.<\/p>\n (Including the language they used, very important.)<\/p>\n And, often email these notes to myself on my phone while they were in mid-rant. In fact, one time we took her friend to the airport, and it was 45 minutes of nothing but continuous workplace gossip… I couldn’t type fast enough on my phone to keep up!<\/p>\n (“Ben at least TRY to join the conversation…” heh).<\/p>\n Why would I do this?<\/p>\n Because that’s mainstream America.<\/p>\n It’s a big chunk of my market:<\/p>\n People frustrated with corporate world.<\/p>\n Who secretly dream of working their own deals.<\/p>\n And, want out of the rat race.<\/p>\n These are people I’m passionate about helping.
