So yesterday I did some righteous wine tasting.<\/p>\n
I was with my droogs Trevor Mauch (my biz partner in a local marketing consulting firm) and ex-Agora copywriting bad ass Ryan Fletcher (who wrote an ad that raked in over $15 million they at first refused to even test) who was visiting us in The Burgle.<\/p>\n
Anyway, it’s harvest time at ye olde wineries.<\/p>\n
And, with harvest comes fruit flies.<\/p>\n
LOTS of fruit flies.<\/p>\n
Sometimes I think they spontaneously materialize out of some weird pocket dimension, as the second a bottle is opened or uncorked… there they is.<\/p>\n
And, they looooove them some Ben.<\/strong><\/p>\n It’s like I’m doomed to be swarmed by the little bastards.<\/p>\n Why?<\/p>\n I don’t know!<\/p>\n But on Wednesday I took a chick to the same two wineries Trevor and Ryan and I went to yesterday, and even she noticed the fruit flies seem to be especially attracted to me.<\/p>\n I joked maybe it’s some kind of pheromone?<\/p>\n You know… maybe they dig my scent?<\/p>\n (Ben Scentle?)<\/p>\n Whatever it is, they like hovering around me.<\/p>\n And, I’m constantly fighting them off.<\/p>\n Anyway, what’s the point of all this?<\/p>\n Probably, there isn’t one.<\/p>\n I just wanted to share it with you.<\/p>\n Give you a glimpse into my life.<\/p>\n And, yes, “bond” with you more as a result.<\/p>\n That’s what I teach in “Email Players”, after all.
