Well, that’s a good question.<\/p>\n

Two reasons:<\/p>\n

1. They all tie into the next “Email Players” issue<\/p>\n

I “theme” my emails each month around the coming “Email Players” issue — to build momentum and keep a sense of continuity to my writings.<\/p>\n

2. Writing about real stuff is the best way to do emails<\/p>\n

In fact, check this out —<\/p>\n

Recently I declared on Facebook:<\/p>\n

“Everything you need to know about being successful with email marketing is on the Johnny Carson documentary on Netflix…”<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

And it’s 100% true.<\/p>\n

In fact, each time I watch it (I’ve seen it a half dozen times), I get some new insight, idea, or thought that makes my emails more persuasive, more fun to write and, yes, my golden pigeon, more profitable to my bottom line.<\/p>\n

Take the quote at the top of this email, for example.<\/p>\n

It sums up what I strive to do:<\/p>\n

Be real.<\/p>\n

You may not like<\/em> everything I say.<\/p>\n

Hellz… you may not even agree<\/em> with everything I say (which is okay, it’s not against the law for you to be wrong, so it’s ALL good…)<\/p>\n

But one thing you get is:<\/p>\n

The real McBen.<\/p>\n

And like me, love me or leave me…<\/p>\n

What ya read is what ya get.<\/p>\n
