Let me tell you a story.<\/p>\n
Back in high school, I used to hang out with some people\u00a0from time to time who weren’t exactly derelicts… but they\u00a0definitely did some unsavory things.<\/p>\n
Like the beer thief guy.<\/p>\n
I don’t know how he got away with it for so long.<\/p>\n
(To my knowledge, he never got caught.)<\/p>\n
But, what he would do is, he would walk into the Jewel grocery\u00a0store on a Friday or Saturday night with a long\u00a0receipt and a piece of tape. He’d go to the beer section. Tape\u00a0the receipt onto a case of beer. And, proceed to walk right out of\u00a0the store with it.<\/p>\n
Can you imagine that?<\/p>\n
The store was just oblivious.<\/p>\n
They never noticed him.<\/p>\n
Never questioned him taping the reciept to the case.<\/p>\n
(I mean, who does that?)<\/p>\n
And, he basically fleeced that one grocery store out of\u00a0who-knows-how much beer over the years<\/span>.<\/strong><\/p>\n Maybe, he even still does.<\/p>\n Anyway, the point?<\/p>\n There isn’t one.<\/p>\n There are several.<\/p>\n Like paying attention to who you let in your “store.”<\/p>\n Who you let work for you.<\/p>\n And, who you let *buy* from you.<\/p>\n People wonder why I’m such a bastard about turning certain\u00a0customers away… like known spammers, opportunity-minded buyers,\u00a0people who have previously refunded other products (i.e. if someone\u00a0refunds one of my clickbank ebooks, and tries to subscribe to\u00a0“Email Players” their request is received, processed and — BZZT!!\u00a0— denied<\/em>)… and the list goes on.<\/p>\n Well, the above story is one reason why.<\/p>\n I suggest you check who you let in your “store” too.<\/p>\n And, who you let buy.<\/p>\n That’s free advice…<\/p>\n Speaking of stores:<\/p>\n I have a bunch of ebooks on kindle.<\/p>\n Most, very short.<\/p>\n (So if you foolishly judge books by volume and page count, don’t\u00a0waste your precious time…)<\/p>\n And very inexpensive.<\/p>\n Kinda like a “bargain basement” bin of books.<\/p>\n Start rummaging through them here:<\/p>\n
