Recently heard a new word “fomo.”<\/p>\n
It means:<\/p>\n
“Fear of missing out”<\/strong><\/p>\n (i.e. you hate it when you’re not invited to parties, etc.)<\/p>\n Not because you want to go, necessarily.<\/p>\n But, because you don’t want to miss out on something that could\u00a0potentially be fun, exciting, educational, whatever the case may\u00a0be. In other words, if you have fomo, you want all the invites you\u00a0can get, to have the option to pick and choose, just in case\u00a0there’s something happening you want to be a part of.<\/p>\n Thus… fear of missing out.<\/p>\n I’m the complete opposite.<\/p>\n No fomo for me.<\/p>\n Instead, I have what I call:<\/p>\n “Fobi”<\/strong><\/p>\n That’s “fear of being invited.”<\/p>\n Hey, it takes a lot for me to leave my lair.<\/p>\n But, June 27-29 I’m attending my first Internet marketing seminar\u00a0not just as an attendee… but as a speaker\/trainer — giving a\u00a040-minute presentation at the No Excuses Summit.<\/p>\n I figured I’d get invited to do something like this eventually.<\/p>\n And, I was kinda dreading it.<\/p>\n Hanging at seminars and speaking to large crowds ain’t my bag.<\/p>\n But, I like to push myself out of my comfort zone.<\/p>\n ’tis good for the soul.<\/p>\n Anywhat…<\/p>\n This summit is for people who want to have a 6-figure\u00a0business online, but don’t know where to start, who to trust or\u00a0where to turn.
