With the year over half way gone, I got to looking at some of the\u00a0goals I publicly made in January, specifically:<\/p>\n
NOTE: This list did not count the intangible goals I made — like having\u00a0more patience and self discipline, yada yada yada<\/p>\n
Anyway, guess what?<\/p>\n
I’ve already knocked out almost all them bad-boys:<\/p>\n
Weekly podcast?<\/p>\n
Check.<\/p>\n
Zombie Cop sequel?<\/p>\n
Affirmative.<\/p>\n
(First draft of “Vampire Apocalypse” is in the can as of a week ago\u00a0— should be ready before Christmas, and make a great “stocking\u00a0stuffer”…)<\/p>\n
Write 6-7 emails per week instead of just 5?<\/p>\n
Yeppers.<\/p>\n
(Sometimes I even do more than 7…)<\/p>\n
Do more consulting-type deals?<\/p>\n
You bet your gluteus assimus — although I changed this to public\u00a0speaking. (i.e. Spoke at the “No Excuses Summit” in Vegas at the\u00a0end of June, and speaking again at another event in Phoenix in\u00a0November for Greg Gomez III, plus doing a special training for a\u00a0mastermind group in Florida for Ray Higdon at the end of October).<\/p>\n
As for the rest?<\/p>\n
The 3 I haven’t done (yet) are:<\/p>\n
(1) Write more how-to Kindle books… (2) do more mainstream media\u00a0appearances… and (3) write a book about email marketing for a\u00a0traditional publisher.<\/p>\n
But, it ain’t no big thing.<\/p>\n
Two of those 3 I decided not to pursue.<\/p>\n
Mainstream media ain’t nearly as profitable as doing podcast\u00a0interviews (which I have done more of this year). And a traditional\u00a0publisher? Why bother? Much more fun self publishing, and I don’t\u00a0really care about having the prestige of being published by a\u00a0traditional publisher.<\/p>\n

About writing more “how to” Kindle books…<\/p>\n
Not sure I’ll reach this goal.<\/p>\n
