{"id":9342,"date":"2014-12-30T06:30:23","date_gmt":"2014-12-30T14:30:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/bensettle.com\/blog\/?p=9342"},"modified":"2014-12-30T06:30:23","modified_gmt":"2014-12-30T14:30:23","slug":"winners-and-losers-in-2015","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bensettle.com\/blog\/winners-and-losers-in-2015\/","title":{"rendered":"Winners And Losers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Recently I was listening to a &#8220;Social Distortion&#8221; song called:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>&#8220;Winners and losers&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>And, it got me to thinking:<\/p>\n<p>How can you tell a loser customer from a winner?<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s easy:<\/p>\n<p>Losers are looking for a magic pill.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s that simple.<\/p>\n<p>Only a \u00a0pathetic, mush cookie little loser is\u00a0actively looking for a magic pill. For example: People who use a\u00a0supplement for 4 days and whine about how it&#8217;s &#8220;a scam!!!!&#8221; Or\u00a0someone who buys an eBook off clickbank and refunds within 10\u00a0minutes, when they didn&#8217;t have enough time to read the table of\u00a0contents much less the eBook itself.<\/p>\n<p>And so on, and so forth.<\/p>\n<p>Believe you me, this happens every day.<\/p>\n<p>All the time.<\/p>\n<p>To businesses around\u00a0the world.<\/p>\n<p>And, it especially happens during the holidays.<\/p>\n<p>I compare notes with a lot of businesses who sell to so-called\u00a0business owners and it&#8217;s astonishing how &#8212; especially for\u00a0businesses who sell products on how to make more sales &#8212; people\u00a0decide to refund right before Christmas because it&#8217;s more important\u00a0to buy little Timmy his new Playstation than keep and apply an\u00a0$500 informational product they bought that can make them 10, 20,\u00a0even 30 times the money they spent.<\/p>\n<p>Dumb.<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, where am I going with this?<\/p>\n<p>Before Christmas is when you see who the winners and losers are.<\/p>\n<p>They make it plain as day.<\/p>\n<p>And, it&#8217;s a GOOD thing.<\/p>\n<p>I actually am thankful when someone buys from me (in one of the markets where I offer refunds) and refunds during the holidays. That way, I can black list them from buying anything else and wasting more of my time.<\/p>\n<p>One more thing:<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m not letting marketers off the hook.<\/p>\n<p>A lot of sales letters promise a magic pill (they know they can&#8217;t\u00a0fulfill), and even make solid cases for buying. They deserve\u00a0refunds and cancels.
