The not-so-humble answer?<\/p>\n
“just put something out there and start selling.”<\/p>\n
I know… I know…<\/p>\n
Easier said than done, eh?<\/p>\n
Or is it?<\/p>\n
Let me give you a real world example of how just taking ONE step\u00a0(even if it’s just listening to a podcast) can *potentially* (your\u00a0milage will vary of course) lead someone down a path going from $0\u00a0to $15k (or higher) in as little as 90 days.<\/p>\n

I have to also thank Ben Settle, because the first few issues of\u00a0his newsletter were great but I still didn’t know what I wanted to\u00a0do. Until he included the bonus interview with The Solo Guy Igor\u00a0Kheifets.<\/strong><\/p>\n
I reached out to Igor, spoke to him for about 3 hours. Ended up\u00a0signing up for coaching with one of his top students and I sit here\u00a0today as a very reputable seller in the solo ads industry. Cranking\u00a0out at least 3 emails per day, practicing different things Ben has\u00a0taught, and in the last 3 months I’ve done over $15,000 in sales\u00a0with an email list of 10,000+ and growing daily.<\/strong><\/p>\n
5 months ago I couldn’t even tell you what a solo ad was. I was\u00a0barely just learning how to write emails (which I’m still not great\u00a0at but getting better).<\/strong><\/p>\n
Through Ben’s podcast I got to know Jonathan Rivera, better who\u00a0along with Darin are my real estate mentors. And through Jonathan I\u00a0met Jim Yaghi who is teaching me traffic. It’s just all one big\u00a0family at the Podcast Factory. And now I got this dog…err…\u00a0Doberman named Dan in my car on a new podcast. I can honestly say\u00a0between Jonathan’s 4 shows he produces I have listened to every\u00a0single show.<\/strong><\/p>\n
This is my year, I told myself I want to be our or corporate\u00a0America by the time I’m 35. I may not may that goal, but I think\u00a0I’m well on my way.<\/strong><\/p>\n
It’s just a small step, as I don’t think solos is what I want to do\u00a0forever. But the point is one $97 a month subscription to Ben\u00a0planted a seed in my head that in 90 days I exploded into a\u00a0business that generates enough money to pay the rent. And up until\u00a0now he probably had no idea.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The lesson?<\/p>\n
If you don’t know where to start, look at the ground, take a\u00a0step… and start walking (figuratively speaking). Yes, during your\u00a0walk through the big bad business ‘hood you’ll get lost, confused,\u00a0be given bad directions, walk in circles, and possibly even be\u00a0chased by a dog or two.<\/p>\n
But so what?<\/p>\n
At least you’re moving.<\/p>\n
And, it beats licking corporate boots forever, yo.<\/p>\n
