So next week I’m attending a mastermind in Austin, TX.<\/p>\n
It’s going to be with a group of blokes most of who I’ve never met\u00a0in anyway, shape, or form (I believe out of the 15 of us, I will\u00a0know 3 people). And, when the guy putting it together sent us all a\u00a0sheet with everyone’s bios, one of the guys replied saying (I’m\u00a0paraphrasing) “Ben, I get all your emails, I don’t read them all,\u00a0but I save them no matter what.”<\/p>\n
The point?<\/p>\n
Yet another reason to sell *every* day.<\/p>\n
You cannot assume everyone is reading every email.<\/p>\n
(No matter how “awesome” they\u00a0think you are.)<\/p>\n
In fact, I think (and I’m right) you should be paranoid about this\u00a0and assume the email you are about to send out *could* be the ONLY\u00a0opportunity people get to see your link and will never read another\u00a0email from you, and this is your only shot. (Which, due to spam\u00a0filters, ISP black lists, the busy-ness of life, low attention\u00a0spans, etc could very well be the case with a big chunk of people\u00a0on your list who really want to buy what you have, really NEED what you have, but simply don’t\u00a0know it exists if you are not plugging a link to your product every day.)<\/p>\n
Would you screw around trying to “incubate” people?<\/p>\n
Trying to prove what a “nice guy” you are by not pitching?<\/p>\n
Or, would you go for the jugular?<\/p>\n
Let them know your product at least exists?<\/p>\n
(Even if you timidly hide it in the PS)?<\/p>\n
I rest my case, Counselor.<\/p>\n
So don’t be shy about selling.<\/p>\n
Plug your product.<\/p>\n
Your bank account and list (the buyers, at least) will thank you.<\/p>\n
And the do-nothings?<\/p>\n
The ones who won’t buy anyway?<\/p>\n
They’ll opt out.<\/p>\n
Win-win.<\/p>\n
