I first learned of this podcast after randomly stumbling upon\u00a0Ben’s website while searching for info about Freddy Krueger. (True\u00a0story!) He reminds me of a guy I once knew who was (at the time) a\u00a0“brown” belt in karate… a “brown” belt who routinely destroyed\u00a0(and embarrassed) “black” belts. I don’t know where Ben currently\u00a0“stands” in the marketing world… you certainly don’t hear all the\u00a0“gurus” plugging his wares. But after listening to all his podcasts\u00a0(and reading all his daily emails), like that “brown” belt, he’s a\u00a0total bad*ss who’s more entertaining and more educational than the\u00a0best of ’em.<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
^^^ Correct.<\/p>\n
He also brings up a good point:<\/p>\n
My products not be plugged by gurus.<\/p>\n
It’s very true.<\/p>\n
And mostly that is because (1) I don’t have an affiliate program\u00a0(so why would anyone plug my wares — unless they’re playing good\u00a0Samaritan, maybe) and (2) my products are 100% incompatible with\u00a0the way a lot of gurus teach and do things.<\/p>\n
(Especially the ones who live launch to launch.)<\/p>\n
For example:<\/p>\n

- I don’t move free lines<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
\n
- I don’t appeal to freebie seekers by going out of my way to\u00a0pretend I have nothing to sell with free webinars or whatever —\u00a0if I promote a free webinar you can bet yo gluteus assimus I will\u00a0trumpet in the email there will be a pitch at the end, and if\u00a0someone is going to be a baby and whine about it they shouldn’t\u00a0attend<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
\n
- I don’t try to warm up people and show them what a swell bloke I\u00a0am before selling to them (i.e. I don’t waste time with\u00a0“incubating” people or sending “good will emails”, which I am 100%\u00a0opposed to)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
\n
- I mostly promote dull unpolished objects as opposed to the\u00a0bright shiny “ninja” objects that appeals to the low class jackass\u00a0crowd<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
