Last Sunday I saw an ultra mega cool TV show:
“The Walking Dead”
It’s about zombies (surprised?)
And it had even my goldfish-like attention span hooked in its cold, dead fingers (with an ending that ensured I’ll be back for another helping of zombie flesh Sunday).
Anyway, the show got me to thinking.
Specifically, about real life “zombies” out there.
Whenever I venture forth from my cave, it’s obvious which people have goals in their lives, something to work towards and live for… and which ones don’t. The ones who don’t never seem to have any sense of urgency at all.
They just kind of “lurch” around like zombies, instead.
With no life in their eyes.
And no spring in their step whatsoever.
Kinda freaky.
Even MORE freaky than the TV walking dead.
Anyway, what’s my point?
I’m not even sure I have one!
Except maybe this:
The fact YOU have a goal in life — big or small — kinda makes you stand out like a breathing human being in a crowd of rotting, “manwich” eating zombies.
Instead of wandering around, you got a place to go.
And you WILL make it.
It’s just a matter of time.
Well, if the zombies don’t get you first…
