I know you’re prolly not gonna answer this
But why is it so hard and confusing to read your emails?
This one admittedly got me curious.
And so I ran the email he replied that day to the free Flesch Kinkaid reading grade calculator online. This lets you get an idea of how hard or easy, confusing or clear, difficult to read or straightforward what you write is.
I thought maybe he had a point?
And here’s what it said:
“Reading Level: 7th grade ( Fairly easy to read )
I’ve been teaching email writing, copywriting, and other kinds of writing, content creation, and persuasive communication for nearly 25-years.
In fact, next month is the 15-year anniversary of my prestigious Email Players newsletter which I launched in August 2011.
During that time I’ve amassed well over 1,000 testimonials.
But admittedly, even I cannot help someone who’s illiterate.
They got to go back.
